Distribution of Seabirds and Cetaceans around the Faroe Islands 2001

Abstract

This report outlines the hydrology of the area surveyed, along with wider habitat information. It lists the seabird and cetacean species recorded and provides details on their distribution, including those areas considered important for potentially vulnerable concentrations of certain species. A total of 37 bird and 15 cetacean species were recorded within the area.
